On May 11th, 2018, at the Walker Art Gallery, professor John J Heartfield, John Heartfield’s grandson, will give an entertaining presentation focusing on his grandfather’s extraordinary work, his memories of his famous grandfather, and the essential need for powerful political art (SEE EVENTS). Artist John Heartfield and his third wife, Gertrud, gifted the Liverpool School of Art and Design with a complete set of his stunning photomontage posters, now on public view for the first time. Professor Hyatt is curating an exhibition of Heartfield Posters at Time Tunnel Liverpool.
