Artist/Musician (The Three Johns) John Hyatt, along with special collaborators, have put together a free festival in Liverpool that’s mind blowing in scope and content. He recently moved from Manchester to become Director of ART LABS at Liverpool School of Art, Liverpool John Moores University. John is renowned for his cultural enervation of cities. Events, exhibits, and public art will erupt in Liverpool’s fabric district from May 10th to May 13th, 2018.

On May 11th, 2018, at the Walker Art Gallery, professor John J Heartfield, John Heartfield’s grandson, will give an entertaining presentation focusing on his grandfather’s extraordinary work, his memories of his famous grandfather, and the essential need for powerful political art (SEE EVENTS). Artist John Heartfield and his third wife, Gertrud, gifted the Liverpool School of Art and Design with a complete set of his stunning photomontage posters, now on public view for the first time. Professor Hyatt is curating an exhibition of Heartfield Posters at Time Tunnel Liverpool.

There is truly something for everyone during Time Tunnel Liverpool in May. Do not miss it!
